Before co-founding Boma, Marion was a ceramicist. Boma began with her desire to create her own ceramic studio in the heart of Paris, both for her individual practice and for other ceramicists.
The idea was to create a quiet place with few residents to offer a space where distractions are minimized, along with a community of professionals (as sharing is vital in these often solitary fields).
The Boma ceramic studio is also one of the few existing in the center of Paris, located in the heart of the 5th arrondissement — a short walk from the Panthéon, métro Maubert-Mutualité and Cardinal Lemoine. A significant asset for Left Bank ceramicists!
A production studio, not a school: we do not run classes. Renting a spot here is for autonomous ceramicists already trained on the wheel or in hand-building.
Below you will find 3 different rental packages as well as the option to bring your external production for firing.

External Firing*
We only accept stoneware and porcelain with a maximum firing temperature of 1280°C — a label with details of the clay used will be required.
